EKOWAP lime for monuments renovation is a unique product on a national scale, created through long-term maturation (minimum 36 months) in specialized silos. The traditional wood-firing technology yields a product with extraordinary plasticity and chemical purity, essential for recreating historical plaster and masonry mortars.

Our lime putty is fully compatible with materials used in ancient building techniques, providing the masonry with proper water vapor diffusion and protection against destructive salination processes.

Product Features

Properties and Applications

Lime Plaster

Breathable plaster for historical walls. Regulates humidity, inhibits fungi and mold growth — crucial for renovating historical facades.

Cement-Lime Plaster

Increased mechanical strength while maintaining the antiseptic properties of traditional wood-fired lime. Proportion 1:2:10.

Lime Painting

Natural lime paint for facade conservation. Optionally reinforced with linseed oil varnish or cottage cheese (lime caseinates) for a more durable coating.

Conservation of Details

Precise works on cornices and ornaments. The plastic lime mass allows recreating the finest historical architectural details.

Salination Inhibition

The porous structure of lime aids the transport of salts from inside the wall to the outside, preventing the destruction of brick and stone.

Lime Plaster (1:3)

Recipe

1 : 3

lime : sand. Yield: ≈ 250 kg of lime per 1 m³ of mortar (1 cm plaster / 100 m²).

Cement-Lime Plaster

Recipe

1 : 2 : 10

cement : lime : sand. Yield: ≈ 104 kg of lime per 1 m³ of mortar.

Painting (Whitening)

Dilution

1 kg : 2,5 L

Lime : water. Recommended linseed oil varnish addition: 2-3 tablespoons / 10 kg of lime.

Coating Reinforcement

Addition

Lean cottage cheese

Dose: 0.4 kg / 10 kg of lime. Improves resistance to abrasion and weather conditions.

Packaging and storage

  • Foil bags: 10 kg, 15 kg
  • Buckets: 13 kg, 25 kg
  • Store at temp: +5°C to +25°C
