Step 1
Mixture Preparation
Dilution
Dilute lime with water: 1 kg per 2,5 L of water. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
Optional
Add linseed oil varnish: 2–4 tablespoons per 10 kg of lime — makes spreading easier and improves coating adhesion.
Method
First add the varnish to thick lime, mix, then gradually add water to the desired consistency.
Step 2
Painting and Coats
Fresh Plaster
On fresh lime plaster, apply linseed oil varnish only from the second painting coat — the first coat must be pure lime.
Cycle
For a perfect effect, paint 2–3 times, allowing time for the previous coat to dry completely.
Coloring
Possibility of coloring with mineral pigments (lime-resistant). Add to thick lime before dilution.

Availability and Substrates
EKOWAP painter's lime features excellent adhesion to most mineral building substrates. The product is dedicated for application on: lime, gypsum-lime, cement-lime plasters, and raw concrete surfaces (prefabricates and screeds).
Thanks to its natural composition, the coating is vapor-permeable, which allows walls to dry freely — this is crucial for newly erected buildings and renovations of old objects.
